Craig, thank you for keeping everyone involved on their toes! What would we do without your journalistic investigation and reporting?

Thank you for another very informative article on the circle of madness residents are experiencing around the lack of an adequate CWS process when we all know communication could literally save lives. We may have survived the last two MRC incidents, but the tragic tolls we are seeing in Maui now when the CWS was not activated or managed properly should be a wake-up call.

I don't care as much about the blame as I am about our future safety. This is serious stuff! We can't wait around watching papers being shuffled. We are courting another disaster if we don't keep pushing to get this fixed. What is it going to take?

On refinery issues; Craig, nobody does it better. You have captured the insanity in all directions. 1. Everyone claims we are going to get to the bottom of this and “resolve it”, and 2. No entity is able to complete or progress in any appreciable way in spite of all the buy in from those who hold the reigns. And WHO held up the investigation for the last 2 months?? MRC the perpetrator of these ongoing events! I used to have respect for employers as long as they at least appeared to value safety and community before profits but that isn’t going to ever happen with this company. And that saddens me greatly. Good employers are important but not when the public cost is this high. They have ruined this communities trust. And what is the true economic loss for us??

The economic loss can get greater, so no, they should not be run out of town, they should be wrung out to legally compensate for the personal health and environmental damage.
