Would like to see an interview of city council, city officials & local folks as to the continued vacant business buildings downtown; i.e., take for example the empty buildings on both sides of Taco Daddy’s, old bank, bails bond & the dilapidated cafe. Why aren’t these landlords being fined - a blight tax - paid to the city until the places are fixed & businesses inside. Everyone appears fixed on the waterfront, while our actual downtown continues in need of repair. There’s opportunities yet there are many buildings just sitting, why?
