The Martinez Education Association, the union that represents Martinez Unified School District’s teachers, announced on Facebook on Monday evening that it has reached a tentative contract agreement with the district, following months of contentious negotiations that included strike threats. No details of the tentative agreement were mentioned in the MEA’s post or immediately disclosed by MUSD. I will include them in a post when they become available.
