City Council-School District liaison meeting set for Feb. 1

The City Council and Martinez Unified School District Liaison Committee will meet Thursday, Feb. 1, at 4 p.m. at the school district offices, 921 Susana St. The agenda for the public meeting will cover safety issues in the school district and city; current and future facility projects; and shared prevention strategies for youth drug, alcohol and tobacco use. The committee consists of Mayor Brianne Zorn, Council Member Satinder Malhi, school board President Courtney Masella-O’Brien and and school board Vice President Carlos Melendez.
