A new place to connect and keep you updated on happenings in Martinez
Hi all,
Substack just launched a new feature called “Notes” that lets newsletter writers such as myself share quick posts and updates in a Twitter-like format (hopefully without all the toxicity of that platform).
I’ll be using this feature to share quick updates with subscribers that don’t warrant a full newsletter post, as well as to preview upcoming posts, or just share quick thoughts on various topics of interest in town.
So keep an eye out for “Notes” from me as part of the Martinez News and Views mission to keep residents and readers informed about the issues, events and topics that impact our quality of life and the health and well-being of our town.
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Martinez News and Views, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Martinez News and Views can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting tidbits from the things we're reading and seeing around town.
